Shape the Future of Girls’ Flag Football

Powered by Women Coaches

The Problem

A leadership gap.

Girls’ flag football is growing faster than the systems supporting it.

Many women stepping into coaching flag are:

  • Coming from other sports

  • Learning football strategy in real time

  • Building programs from scratch

They’re capable. They’re passionate. They’re committed.

But like any emerging field, the infrastructure to support them is still catching up.

Women Coaches in Flag (WCF) was created to accelerate that support by providing connection, training, and community so women coaches can lead with clarity and confidence.

OUR SOLUTION

Connect. Train. Lead.

WCF was founded by the Women’s Coaching Alliance to equip and unite women coaching girls’ flag football so they can lead with confidence — and shape the game in our image.

When you join WCF, you get:

Your Community

Connect with women coaches across the country through discussion boards, monthly live sessions, regional meetups, and a private support space where no question is too basic and no struggle is too small.

A Powerful Voice

WCF isn't just a membership — it's a seat at the table. As the sport grows, the coaches in this community will help define its values, standards, and identity.

Resources for You

Everything you need to coach with confidence—drills, season plans, leadership curriculum, parent communication support, and session recordings—in one accessible place.

(WCA) is an organization that is rooted in empowering women to lead. And coaching is where that happens in so many ways.  As a man, I need to step aside and a woman needs to coach girls flag football. Women need to be qualified and we need to get thousands of women coaching flag.

We've got to start building this pipeline. We've got to make sure that they are learning to do things the right way because I do think we need to see more women coaching women athletes and we need to see women coaching all the sports.

Our Community

Women Coaches in Flag isn't a startup trying to figure out the sports world. It's built on the foundation of the Women's Coaching Alliance — an organization with deep roots and real relationships across football at every level.

Our connections include:

  • A female football player with braids, wearing a white jersey with number 33, is preparing to throw a football during a game.

    Diana Flores

WCA champion and global ambassador for women's flag football

  • Close-up of a woman with blonde hair smiling, wearing earrings and a dark blazer, in an indoor setting.

    Jane Skinner Goodell

WCA board member and advocate for women's empowerment within the NFL

  • Man speaking at an event with a Women’s Coaching Alliance sign in the background.

    Steve Young

  • Sam Rapaport

We don't just care about coaching. We care about the future of women leading in football — and we have the relationships to make a real difference in how this game grows.
